Relaxed monthly walks to enjoy and learn about local wildlife in a friendly group that welcomes both those new to nature and more experience people.
The Wildlife Wanders are volunteer-led events that promote the wellbeing benefits of spending time in nature, meeting like-minded people, and learning wildlife watching skills. Whether you've never thought much about the wildlife on your doorstep before and want to learn from others, or you want to practice your skills and share them, then we'd love to have you along.
The Wildlife Wanders are monthly in three different locations in Northern Ireland:
- Cookstown on the 1st Sunday of the month 2-4pm - in Cabin Wood (Woodland Trust)
- East Belfast on the 3rd Sunday of the month 2-4pm - in Victoria Park
- Comber on the 4th Sunday of the month 2-4pm - in various locations
We aim to run the events in local greenspaces that are accessible without a car.
Birds, trees, flowers, butterflies, bees, fungi... whatever wildlife we find, we observe, appreciate, and learn about it. Join us to enjoy our local wildlife each month as it changes with the seasons!
Booking
