Are you a birdwatcher and would like to help us better understand how Welsh bird populations are faring?.

Join Gethin Jenkins-Jones in this online session to find out more about the Nest Record Scheme and how you could take part in it.

Finding a bird nest in the wild is as special as finding treasure, and here are the BTO we find information on nests to be even more valuable still. The Nest Record Scheme (NRS) is a key survey, as it tells us much about how our birds are doing as they try and raise young during the breeding season. And here in Wales, we'd really appriciate additional information on many of our species. In this session, we will go over some top tips for finding bird nests in the wild, and how to properly record them NRS.

Whether you’re thinking of taking part in this scheme for the first time or an existing NRS volunteer who’d like a refresher, be sure to join us at this welcoming and supportive session.

We look forward to seeing you there!
